Introductory Training

Welcome to our free introductory training course for SimulationX. This is a simplified version of our standard introductory training course, which can be done using the Express Edition of SimulationX. The Express Edition is a free edition with limited functionality.

Lesson 0 - Setup and Express Edition

Launch SimulationX as the free Express Edition.

Lesson 1 - Graphical User Interface

Learn the names of the different parts of the SimulationX GUI and how to adjust them to your preference.

Lesson 2 - Modeling Concept

Learn about lumped parameter networks, equation vs. signal-based modeling, and potential and flow quantities.

Lesson 3 - Building Our First Model

Learn how to use the 1D Translational Mechanics library to build a simple One-Mass Oscillator.
